As an Australian Importer, it is your responsibility to provide your Customs Broker/Customs/Forwarder the correct documentation to facilitate rapid Custom Clearance. One of the most import documents for import sea freight, either FCL or LCL, is the Packing Declaration that is needed to be completed by the shipper or the company in charge of packing the container. Here is the correct and current form that is required to be printed on the packer’s/shipper’s letterhead… (attached)
