Bluefreight is specialised in handling integral logistics projects so that merchandise may reach its destination in the best shape and manner possible and by the deadline.
Following the initial period of consultation and in-depth analysis of costs and project planning, the most appropriate means of transport are chosen in order to make the most benefits for both the shipper and the consignee.
This applies to heavy and /or out of gauge merchandise shipment, as well as the combination of merchandise freight from different parts of the world to a specific point, or extremely sensitive or urgent shipments.
What is offered, in all cases, is a door-to-door service, allowing clients to define its scope. In order to do so, we rely on our department of highly qualified staff, with the know-how of all the international freight areas, customs clearance procedures, storage and warehousing, etc. Our staff are able to carry out the most complex coordination that project cargo may require.
To make the communication between your company and Bluefreight easier, a person who is responsible for the project is appointed and who will be your main spokesperson. For larger and complex projects, Richard Dexter, with many years of experience in large scale projects, takes a "hands on" management role.
We count on a network of agents, expert in project management around the world.
- Checking on road sections, bridges and tunnels
- Management of public works
- Wrapping, labeling…
Merchandise is constantly monitored and tracked en route. Our newly implemented customer tracking systems will be available for you to login and check the location and status of your cargo.
Cargo Insurance

All merchandise hauled by Bluefreight can be insured. The insurances we handle cover loss / theft / damage to the merchandise at any point of the freight from the origin to its delivery point. All freight companies, each one according to the current legislation, have got their civil limited liability insurances. Therefore, most of the clients do not request full coverage insurances.
The coverage stands for the ICC Clauses (Cargo Clauses, Strike Clauses and War Clauses). The limit of the recommended coverage is of 110% of the merchandise CFR value.
Whenever requested by the client, special insurance for the goods freight costs may be taken out.
